Objective: Is a good get to know each other activity.
Props: Paper for each participant,
pencil for each participant.
Step by step instructions
- Give everyone in a circle a piece of paper and pen. Explain that they should write their name in big letters across the paper (first name only).
- Their task is to find people who share at least one of the same letters as them. They should write that person’s name on their paper so it uses the letter from their own name (like an acrostic poem).
- They must also find something else they have in common with this person and write it on their paper. The more creative the better!
- Everyone should continue this until they’ve found a different person for each letter of their name.
- To wrap up have a few people share things that they found in common.
